While attending our kick-off event, Mayor Ed Gainey committed to writing a letter of support to our board of trustees. The letter urges the board to voluntarily recognize the union, rather than challenging it and forcing us to a vote. Voluntary recognition would be a great next step towards partnering with administration. The Mayor’s Office delivered the letter this week and you can read a copy here, or download to view.
